Fundraising campaigns on your own WordPress site, paid by Mobile Money: campaign pages, donation form, rewards and recent donors. An add-on for Fosia Pay. 1 site, 1 year of updates and support.
$29.99
Fosia Crowdfunding turns your WooCommerce site into a fundraising page for the causes people really raise money for in Africa: a wedding, a funeral, medical bills, school fees, a place of worship, a community project, an emergency.
How donors pay with Mobile Money
- The donor opens your campaign page, taps a suggested amount or types their own, and can give anonymously or leave a short message.
- Their Mobile Money number fills in your normal WooCommerce checkout, where Fosia Pay (Lite, free, or Pro) sends the payment prompt.
- They approve the payment on their phone (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Orange Money, M-Pesa and the other wallets supported by PawaPay).
- As soon as PawaPay confirms the payment, the campaign total, the progress bar and the recent donors update. A refund takes the amount back out automatically.
The money goes straight to your own PawaPay merchant account. Fosia never holds or touches the funds, and takes no commission on donations.
What’s included with the licence
- Campaign pages: cover, story, goal with milestones, donors and days left, a donation panel that stays in view (bottom bar on phones), updates timeline
- Donation form: large amount buttons, custom amount in your currency, Mobile Money number with country code, anonymous gifts, short messages
- Sharing: WhatsApp first, copy link, QR code, the phone’s share menu
- Recent donors: first name and initial only (or “Anonymous”), never a phone number or e-mail
- Unlimited campaigns accepting donations at the same time
- Reward tiers and cash or offline gifts recorded from the admin and counted in the totals
- Divi 5 modules: Campaign Card, Campaign Grid and Donation Form; shortcodes for any theme
- Donor dashboard with receipts, donations log and CSV export
- English and French; updates and email support during the licence
Free mode (no licence)
Without a licence, one campaign accepts donations at a time, with shortcodes, progress bar and the donations log. Reward tiers, cash entries, Divi modules, the donor dashboard, CSV export, updates and support need the licence. If a yearly licence expires, nothing is deleted: the oldest running campaign keeps accepting donations and the others pause until you renew.
Requirements
- WordPress with WooCommerce
- Fosia Pay Lite (free) or Fosia Pay Pro, connected to your own PawaPay merchant account
- PHP 7.4 or later; Divi 5 only for the Divi modules
Good to know
- The Crowdfunding licence is separate from Fosia Pay Pro: a Pro, Pro + AI or Agency licence does not include it, and a Crowdfunding key does not activate Fosia Pay Pro.
- One licence = one site. The key locks to the first site where you activate it; contact us to move it.
- Your licence key is emailed as soon as your Mobile Money payment is confirmed; download the plugin from My account › Licences.
- Full refund within 14 days, by Mobile Money.
